Player of the Year (Gross)

The Player of the Year (Gross) award was first awarded in 2006. It is the culmination of a full year of play and is awarded to the NOMAD member with the lowest average gross score.

To qualify for the Player of the Year award, you must play in at least 50% of NOMAD events throughout the calendar year.

Rules:

All play during NOMAD Tournaments will be governed by USGA and SCGA rules. The players with the five lowest average gross scores for all rounds played during the calendar year will receive the corresponding prizes.

There are two Player of the Year categories -- Gross and Net. A member can win a prize in only one category per year.

In the event of a tie, the tie-breaking stat will be the player who has played the most NOMAD rounds in the past calendar year.

Prizes:

Tournament prizes will be 1st=$75 plus Trophy for one year; 2nd=$50; 3rd=$35; 4th=$25; 5th=$15.
